How can we drain the water heater correctly?
- First of all turn off the power of your electric water heater or switch the thermostat to pilot mode than connect the hose bib to a drainage valve, then after that close water supply.
- After, drain hot water from the water heater tank. But keep in mind not to forget to open the hot-water tap in the sink. It inhibits the formation of a vacuum in a pipeline.
- The hot water tank is empty. Turn on the water pipeline wall to flush out the sediment. When clear water starts coming from the hose close a drain valve.
Then switch on the electric heater (or adjust the thermostat) when the water tank is full. In the end, check the pressure –release valve.
Leaky faucet fixation
- First, you have to remove the handle of the faucet by unscrewing a screw, then tighten the packing nut. Sometimes you can fix leakage by tightening the nut.
- If tightening the nut is of no use then move further by replacing the washer. For this first shut off the valve which is usually present beneath a sink if not then follow a pipeline you will definitely find.
- Open faucet by twisting stem’s top and let the water drain from the pipes.
- After removing a steam assembly.
- Replace a washer and wrap a nut.

Why does water taste bad?
